Terms of Service

Plain terms for a one-time purchase. What a plan includes, what you are confirming each time you message a guest, and who is responsible for what the assistant proposes.

Who you are agreeing with

Saathi is operated by Akta Enterprises, a sole proprietorship of Akta Rajiv Daga, in Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India (GSTIN 27AHLPD3873A1ZK). A proprietorship has no separate legal person, so your agreement is with Akta Rajiv Daga. Using the service (signing in, creating a wedding, sending a message through it) means you accept these terms. If you are using Saathi on behalf of a family or a client, you confirm you are allowed to act for them.

What you are buying

A plan is a one-time purchase for one wedding. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and nothing is charged again unless you choose to buy a top-up. A planner account holds up to ten active weddings and is priced per wedding.

  • Before you pay, a wedding runs as a trial: up to 25 guests, 5 live guest links, and a starting allowance of AI usage. WhatsApp messages cannot be sent until a plan is bought. Everything else is visible.
  • A paid plan removes those caps. Plus includes 2,500 WhatsApp messages sent from Saathi's number. Personal sends from your own WhatsApp number, and WhatsApp bills you for those messages directly at its own rates. A planner's plan is as agreed with us. Replies your guests send you are never counted.
  • Top-ups (extra messages, extra AI allowance, extra planner wedding slots) are one-time purchases too, and are added to the wedding you buy them on.

Up to six people can share one wedding, each with their own role, side and read-only or read-write access. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are charged in Indian rupees.

Your account

You are responsible for the account you sign in with and for the people you invite to your wedding. Anyone you give read-write access can add, change and delete that wedding's data, and can send messages that count against its allowance. Remove collaborators in Settings when they no longer need access.

Messages you send to guests

Saathi sends WhatsApp messages on your behalf through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform. When you send one, you confirm two things:

  • The people on your list are your guests, and you have their details because they gave them to you or to your family, not from a purchased or scraped list.
  • You are sending them something about this wedding: an invitation, a room, an arrival, a reminder. Saathi is not a marketing channel, and using it as one risks the number being blocked by Meta for every other host on it.

Message templates are approved by Meta before they can be used, and their rules apply on top of ours. If a guest asks you to stop messaging them, stop: remove them from the wedding, or from the campaigns you send. A guest who blocks the number stops receiving messages from it regardless.

What the AI does, and does not do

Saathi's assistant reads what you tell it and proposes changes, such as a guest list, a room allocation, a travel plan. Nothing is saved until you approve it on screen, and nothing is sent to a guest until you press send. Because the assistant can misread a name, a date or a phone number, the approval step is yours and the responsibility for what is saved and sent stays with you. Review what you are approving, particularly before a send.

Fair use

Do not attempt to break the service, reach another wedding's data, resell Saathi as your own product, or use it to send anything unlawful, abusive or misleading. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why.

How long your wedding is kept

Trial weddings are removed 30 days after the event, with a final export kept for 90 days. Paid weddings are archived 60 days after the event and are never deleted automatically. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from Settings at any time. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

Refunds

Set out in full on the refunds and cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.

What we do not promise

Saathi depends on services we do not run: WhatsApp delivery, payment processing, hosting, flight data. We keep the service available and our records accurate, but we cannot guarantee that a message reaches a particular guest at a particular moment, or that a third party's data is correct.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with Saathi is limited to what you paid us for that wedding. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes, and where disputes go

If these terms change we will update this page and its date. Continuing to use Saathi after that means accepting the revised terms. These terms are governed by Indian law, and the courts of Kolhapur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction over any dispute.
